Please allow me to introduce myself – my name is Gina Rozzero, and I have been working and involved in the healthcare industry for over 25 years. From Medical Assistant to Muscular Therapist with a small business (Hands in Motion), it has been quite a journey! In the past 16 years, I have focused specifically on Professional Medical Billing. This experience includes managing a Professional billing department, and overseeing the revenue cycle for 102 providers with 16 different specialties, including Behavioral Health. [During this time, to enhance my knowledge, I also became a Certified Professional coder in 2008, and in 2013 became a Certified Professional Medical auditor].
After recognizing the frustrations Physicians were experiencing with decreases in reimbursement and increases in billing requirements, I wanted to put a fresh perspective in providing maximum services for our RI providers. This was an opportunity, and my mission, to help the Physician community, and apply my experiences and expertise in this field. As a result, Fresh Perspectives was formed.
I love what I do, and nothing is more rewarding than working with Clients, sharing the knowledge and experiences of our Fresh Perspective staff, and seeing positive outcomes in each Practice. Communicating and identifying ways to improve processes, has resulted in prompt payments, ultimately impacting increases in cash flow, and opportunities in decreasing denials for our clients.

Jessica began her career in the Medical field in 2011 as a Medical Receptionist. In a short time, she began to challenge herself further, and began her pursuit of other positions in the medical field. To achieve her objective, she has held positions as a HomeCare DME Medical Documentation Specialist, Customer Service Representative, Revenue Cycle Professional and Billing Specialist. Jessica also completed a course in Medical Billing & Coding, at Lincoln Technical Institute.
Each position awarded her opportunities in acquiring many skills, such as, maintaining and following detailed procedural processes, collection management, medical billing, claim payment accuracy, denial management & trending, and much more. She is adept at learning and using many different software systems, and her attention to detail is superb. She works well with others and has effective communication skills.

Michelle’s interest in the Medical field began in 2011, when she completed a course in Medical Billing & Coding, at the Lincoln Technical Institute. In her quest for a position in this field, she acquired employment as a Compliance Specialist in Homecare, verifying patient insurance, and insurance compliance requirements, necessary to cover certain procedures. Other Medical related positions she held were; Registration Coordinator, and Clinical Financial Data Associate. These positions further developed Michelle’s knowledge in auditing of patients medical documentation, and billing requirements, as required by insurance companies to ensure payment of services.
Michelle has become well-versed in learning and using multiple software billing systems, especially related to Behavioral Health. Her qualities and knowledge have established her as a great asset to our team.

Jennifer is a certified professional coder. She has been in the medical billing field for the past 15 years. She has a desire to maximize revenue while maintaining coding compliance.
With a new addition to her family expected in October, Jennifer has decided to step back from billing. She will continue to serve Fresh Perspectives Medical Billing as a coder on an as needed basis.
